Alpha is a series of fun dinner and group conversation evenings centered around exploring the big questions of life, spirituality, and faith in a laid back and non-judgmental environment.
It’s for those who want to explore or are rethinking their faith. If you are curious, skeptical, or just have honest questions, bring them to Alpha and explore them with new friends!

A Taste of Alpha | Sept. 19th, 2023, 7-9pm
What is the Alpha Launch Night? It’s the opening night of Alpha but it’s also designed to be a one-off evening for those who are not sure if they want to do Alpha? it’s a great night with dinner and conversation with new friends, a short presentation on ‘What is Alpha?’ followed by the Alpha Pub with DJ and wine tasting. Alpha is commitment-free but runs for 9 weeks, beginning on the Launch Night.

Works

Connection | 7:00 – 7:30pm
When you arrive, join your group of new friends for a catered dinner and catching up.
Content | 7:30 – 8:00pm
Each evening includes a 25 minute live talk, from everyday people, which are designed to inspire conversation. They explore the big issues of life and faith, addressing questions like ‘What is Faith?’, ‘Does God Guide?’ and ‘Who is Jesus?’.
Conversation | 8:00 – 9:00pm
The best part of the night is group time, where you will get to know your small group, ask big questions, and share your thoughts and experiences of life and faith. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
